In a secluded corner of the Parc du Cinquantenaire you discover the pavilion of human passions. While the doors are mostly locked, through the keyhole one can see a glimpse of a passionate, humane, attractive, and dangerous world, as human life is depicted by Lambeaux in his monumental relief. In various philosophies and major religions, passion is regarded as a spark for social and spiritual afflictions and the immorality of vices. Barra is an alter ego of the Pavilion, seeking to connect with visitors, and in so doing, creating a collective memory. As an extension of the Pavilion, Barra becomes a space for connection and reflection.
